Process MeditationTM  Procedures

Process Meditation procedures provide the methodology and set of procedures for deepening inner experience in the context of one’s whole spiritual life.  These procedures are designed to work actively and systematically at the inner level on the spiritual dimension in the context of our entire life.

Process Meditation procedures contain the exercises in the Meaning Dimension of the Intensive Journal workbook.  This material is primarily covered in our program under Part 2:  Depth Contact:  Process Meditation™ Workshop (DC): Symbolic Images and Meaning in Life.

Dr. Progoff  states:

“Finding this experience of meaning, valuing it, and realizing the importance of the belief and the way we have been led to it becomes central to our life.  The Meaning Dimension covers the aspect of life that we experience in terms of beliefs and about meaning in life.” 1

Dr. Progoff wrote the second volume on the Intensive Journal method that covers Practice Meditation Procedures that is entitled The Practice of Process Meditation, (Dialogue House Library, New York 1980). This material was subsequently incorporated in the revised edition of At a Journal Workshop (1992)
