Location The workshops will be held at the New Hope Conference Center in Chapel Hill near I-40 and
I-85.   The Center has separate buildings to host each group; we are in the Oak Lodge.  The center has spacious grounds and a peaceful atmosphere with walking trails that is well suited for our programWe have reserved a block of rooms at the Quality Inn at 1740 N Forrham Blvd, Chapel Hill NC  27414 919-968-3000.  Reserve your bedroom at a special group rate of $65 per night plus tax for 1 bed  and $70 per night for 2 beds guaranteed through October 5; mention you are attending the Intensive Journal  program.  Please do not guarantee a room until we know we have enough people to hold the program.  We could not get a special rate at the Microtel Inn in Hillsborough which is closer.
Leader Susan Wells lives in the Hudson Valley, about one hour north of New York  City.  She has experience in the field of communications spanning 3 decades. She’s been a poet, video producer, radio drama director, researcher on a Peggy Guggenheim biography, teacher, editor, and, most recently, medical writer with a specialty in oncology and neurology. Susan has degrees in English, comparative literature, and anthropology from Columbia University and Middlebury College, and has worked with the Intensive Journal process for over 25 years

Location Roslyn Retreat Center is located on 150 scenic acres in Henrico County, Virginia, two miles west of Richmond on the James River. 
Leader Nancy-Elizabeth Nimmich, MSW has had a private psychotherapy practice since 1983 with a focus on health and well-being.   She has led workshops focusing on creative wellness for over 25 years.  Nancy-Elizabeth's education is:  BA in psychology from Manhattanville College (1965); MSW in social work from Catholic University of America (1978).
