| Location |
Stella Maris Retreat Center (SMRC) is located
in Long Branch, New Jersey with its property facing the Atlantic
Ocean. The center has a very picturesque setting, with beautiful views
of the ocean. SMRC has single bedrooms and a swimming pool.
Walk on the beach; htere is a boardwalk in town. Located in
Monmouth County off the Garden State Parkway, SMRC is accessible by
train from Penn Station or by bus from Port Authority. Limited
overnight space - book early! |

Avis Smalley, a leader since the 1970s in
upstate in New York, is a retired child psychologist. Avis is the
director of the program for training leaders to conduct Intensive
Journal workshops. |
